Each suite is named after a former owner of the estate. These dramatic and well-appointed guest suites are perched on the bluff above Greenwood State Park Beach, with banks of windows filled with a view of Pacific Ocean, beach, and offshore sea stacks. Many of these islands have sea caves that run clear through the rock, through which waves surge in an endless display of majestic force.

The Craftsman style bungalow design of the suites embodies the early 1900s Arts and Crafts philosophy of serenity, commitment to handicraft, and luxury. Built exclusively of redwood, the exterior features Montana flagstone walkways, mortared stone work, wood shingles, copper gutters and hand railings, copper capped balcony posts, and Ed Hurley (local Mendocino physicist turned artisan) light fixtures of copper and stained glass.

Hand eased redwood beams were used to create the second floor cathedral ceilings. The walkways between rooms make each suite feel like a world unto itself. Each suite is generously proportioned, with high ceilings, sitting room, fireplace, arts and crafts furniture, television, wet bar with coffee-maker, microwave, and refrigerator, and a private balcony or stone patio.
